Hi, I’m Sheila Harris-Fitzpatrick.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC), National Certified Distance Counselor (DCC) and Bereavement Professional, trained as a Grief Recovery Specialist at the Grief Recovery Institute in California.  I have a Master’s degree from National-Louis University in Psychology and Community Counseling and working on my Ph.D. in Pastoral Counseling at the Colorado Theological Seminary.

My passion is working with adolescents and adults relating to grief and other life transitions; which include, employment exit strategies, career decisions while identifying gifts and talents, finding your life calling and coaching through life altering events.

I have experience with children and adults dealing with mental health disorders, substance abuse, parenting issues.  I’ve counseled marriage couples, couples before marriage, families dealing with death, and individuals with anger management issues.

I understand that loss and life transitions can be difficult.  I lost my dad, husband, became an empty nester and changed jobs all in the same year and so I know a lot about grief, transitions and regaining energy in recovery.  There is hope so contact me and let me help you move beyond what you are currently experiencing and help you find a new normal for your life.
